🎯 How are photos selected for Overwatch?

Edited

For every photo uploaded to the platform, we assign a priority level based on several factors. This helps us predict which images require the most immediate attention, ensuring that high-priority photos are more visible to our Overwatch community.

Here are the key factors we consider when determining priority:

  • Number of reports: The more reports (positive or negative) a photo receives, the faster we can move toward a conclusive verdict.

  • Number of negative reports: A higher volume of negative reports indicates a greater likelihood that the photo contains inappropriate content.

  • Remaining time until deletion: We prioritize photos that are close to being permanently deleted to ensure they are reviewed before they are removed from our systems.

  • User history: If a user has previously uploaded inappropriate content, their subsequent uploads are flagged with higher priority, as there is a higher probability of recurring policy violations.

  • AI Assessment: Our internal AI systems automatically scan for sensitive content, such as minors or violent imagery. If our detection tools flag a high risk, the photo is immediately elevated to top priority.
