🕵️ How secure is this process?
We have designed the Overwatch program to be highly secure for both our participating moderators and the users who upload content to our platform:
Anonymized Imagery: The photos displayed in Overwatch are modified with the faces of all individuals blurred or obscured.
Metadata Removal: We strip all EXIF metadata from photos before they appear in Overwatch. This eliminates potentially sensitive information such as device details, timestamps, or geographic coordinates.
User Anonymity: No personal information about the uploader is ever displayed. There is no email, username, or any other identifier associated with the photo.
The only information provided is an AI-generated description of the image and, optionally, the prompt used by the author to generate the content.
Zero Interaction: There is no way for photo authors and moderators to interact. They have no means of contacting, identifying, or recognizing one another.
We take the privacy of our users very seriously; therefore, both inside and outside of the Overwatch program, there is simply no way to identify other users or associate them with their photos.
